ROXY AND THE RENEGADES
Roxy and the Renegades is a dark comedy musical revolving around a group of four fierce young women who will stop at nothing to take down a misogynistic drug lord. The film is filled with hilarious dialogue, zany characters, powerful music, and provocative themes of social justice and honorable intent. Co-written, directed, edited, and composed by Eleanor Levine.
LA DANSE DE L'ÉTRANGER (The Dance of the Outsider)
The Dance of the Outsider (La Danse de L'Étranger), an homage to French Nouveau, set in the '60s, is a story of two outsiders from different worlds, who are thrown together by chance. Was featured in Independent Film Festival Boston, winning first place in the student division; Depth of Field International Film Festival, winning the Award of Excellence and two lead actors awards; the Reality Bytes Film Festival; Alhambra Theatre Film Festival; New Haven International Film Festival; Maine International Film Festival; and Bethel Film Festival.
THE HIDDEN HARPIST
Short documentary about 20-year-old harpist, Ellie Denison and her psychological struggles with an instrument that is simultaneously her life-long passion and her greatest source of fear. Was featured in Newburyport Documentary Film Festival; Salem Film Festival Mass Reality Check 2nd place winner; Marblehead Film Festival; and Long Winter Short Film Festival.
